2011 JCM5k recap:The 2013 JCM5k will take place on Saturday April 27th at 9:00am in West Lafayette's Cumberland Park. Registration will open January 1st, 2013 with a 24 hour New Year's Resolution Special. Please check back between now and then for more information on the 2013 JCM5k Weekend! 2012 JCM5k recap: In the 4th annual JCM5k, over 497 participants braved the cold rain and wind to run or walk for victory over mental illness. The 2012 event again took place in and around West Lafayette's Cumberland Park and raised over $8,000 for mental health research, advocacy, and intervention in Tippecanoe County. The Overall winners of the 2012 event were Zane Cooperider (15:33) and Delaney Barber (19:20) of West Lafayette, IN, and Cooperider's mark eclipsed the JCM5k course record previously owned by Colin Vance of Carmel, IN.
In the 3rd annual JCM5k, over 600 participants ran and walked for victory over mental illness. The 2011 event again took place in and around West Lafayette's Cumberland Park and raised over $10,000 for mental health research, advocacy, and intervention in Tippecanoe County. The Overall winners of the 2011 event were Colin Vance (15:33) of Carmel, IN and West Lafayette's Erin Brophy (19:16). Crossing the tape first in the Masters division were Lane Custer (18:07) and Andrea Blocher (19:18). ![]() 2010 JCM5k recap: In the second JCM5k, over 650 participants ran and walked for victory over mental illness. The 2010 event again took place in and around West Lafayette's Cumberland Park and raised over $13,000 for mental health research, advocacy, and intervention in Tippecanoe County. The Overall winners of the 2010 event were West Lafayette's Zane Cooperider (16:03) and Rachel Sun (19:11). Crossing the tape first in the Masters division were Steven Charlebois (18:03) and Andrea Blocher (21:33).

The Overall winners of the 2009 event were Lafayette's Tito Medrano (15:44) and Petrama Petkova (18:29). Crossing the tape first in the Masters division were Lane Custer (18:39) and Carla Zoltowski (24:17). |
